Our Community Partnership with Idlewild Community Alliance

Mogul Life Business Clinic is proud to partner with the Idlewild Community Alliance to advance environmental justice in Idlewild — a historic African-American community known as “Black Eden.” Together we’re supporting community-led land stewardship and food-sovereignty projects (the Idlewild Future plans for: Food Co-op pilot, community gardens, composting, and regenerative farming), securing long-term land access through land-trust planning, and improving public safety and access at Williams Island Beach with designated swim zones, solar pathway lighting, and protective fencing. Our collaboration centers resident leadership, youth education, and local entrepreneurship—pairing technical training and market access with culturally grounded placemaking (murals, safe crosswalks) so families and visitors alike benefit. Join us in building resilient local food systems, protecting shared natural resources, and creating equitable economic opportunity for Idlewild’s current and future generations.

🌱 Advancing Environmental Justice Through Solar Innovation- Community Partner Youth Community Agency

At Mogul Life Business Clinic, we are proud to partner with Youth Community Agency (YCA) on groundbreaking initiatives rooted in equity and sustainability. Through our collaborative work—such as the launch of the new Frankfort YCA Mobility Hub—we’re helping to bring clean energy and green infrastructure directly to underserved neighborhoods on Detroit’s Eastside. This solar-powered activation is more than just a transportation solution—it’s a symbol of environmental justice in action. By integrating solar charging stations, community seating, and access to transit mapping, the hub is a powerful example of how public-private partnerships can create greener, more connected, and more equitable communities. Together, we’re paving the way for a future where environmental access is a right—not a privilege.
